about

An improvised piece from a Facebook Live performance that took place 8:30pm on 03/21/2020, occurring at Ghost Salon in Hickory Withe, TN. EQ'd but otherwise unedited, bad notes and background noise and all. Zachary Corsa played Fender Jaguar, Carvin XV112, many pedals, and many tapes, samples, and toys. Denny Wilkerson Corsa provided technical and gear assistance. This piece was recorded via Zoom H2 and edited and mixed in GarageBand. This work is free if you want it, but donations are always appreciated, especially with what everyone is facing right now financially.

'Massachusetts Graves' is a play on the term 'mass graves', which felt grimly apropos considering the ongoing pandemic. Also, Massachusetts is my birthplace and where I was raised until the age of eleven. The cover design above is an edited detail from a vintage travel poster (Alaska). We dedicate these two works to the memory of Mr. Kenny Rogers (1938 - 2020), and to every victim of COVID-19 and of our country's wicked and inhumane 'healthcare system'. Requisat.

Please remain indoors. Do not be alarmed. It's only the apocalypse.

about

Nonconnah Hickory Withe, Tennessee

Mid-South doomy dronegaze collective. Zachary Corsa (mostly guitar) + Denny Corsa (mostly field recordings) + occasionally Blake Conley (more guitar) + various accomplices of ill repute. LO-FI + DIY AF. Likely too loud for your offbeat night out. Loves 'obsolete' technology. Swarming with ghosts at the veil between shadow worlds. A dark elegy for a collapsing sprawlscape.
